Firstly we thank all participants Almouj Staff, The Ministry of Environment & Climate Affairs, Sponsors and volunteers for this event. Our Dimaniyat Islands' Clean-up was so successful because of you.

We cleared 60 bags (110x51cm) of which 32 (Plastic) 16 (soda cans) 7 (Glass bottles) 3 (paper) and 2 (uncategorized litter).The site now looks stunnigly spotless.

Using all above waste materials, the Plasbin Creative Team will now work on a special sculpture that will be displayed at the Almouj Marina entrance to help create awareness against littering these environmentally precious Islands

Further, to help maintain this clean state of the Islands, we are now working on draft proposal to the relevant authorities parallel with immediate comprehensive public awareness programmes going forward.

Meanwhile we wish to appeal to all visitors to help maintain the current clean status of the Dimaniyat Islands by returning with all waste material generated during their visits.

As promised, we will soon organise a major public clean-up event at the same islands, this time numerous islands at once; yesterday we attended to a section of only one - Karaba Island. If you wish to participate please email us info@plasbin.com
