If so you believe, then it’s time we looked at our environmental pollution from the same perspective. Therefore, it is undeniable fact to say the plastic pollution to our environment stops with recycling ONE bottle at a time.

ONEBOTTLE Recycling Campaign asks each and every one of us in Oman to make the PLEDGE; to RECYCLE at least ONE plastic bottle every day. Soon or later, we will together reverse ONE million; ONE billion; ONE trillion…until it becomes our second nature; in other words, our lifestyle.

About OneBottle 

 OneBottle is a Plasbin campaign initiative to help clear the more than 16 million plastic bottles disposed of in Oman every day. 

​It calls upon you to take only one simple action, to recycle at least one bottle, and that's enough to make all the difference to our environment.

OneBottle Recycling Campaign will run for six months, starting May 2019, the success of which will inform mass deployment countrywide

Plastic Drop-off Stations

We shall progressively distribute special-purpose Plasbin Recycling Stations (PRSs) within your convenient drop-off points across Muscat, primarily at Schools, Colleges, Mosques, Churches, Shopping Centers, among others.

​All you need to do is drop your Plastic into the PRS near you, and we will do the rest.

Remember, OneBottle is all it takes to protect your environment.

Who can Participate

As a social responsibility, Corporate Organisations may partner with us through the installation of PRSs within their neighboring communities.

Individuals, Student Committees in Colleges or Universities may also volunteer to mobilize communities to recycle plastic within their institutions or neighborhood.

Measuring ONEBOTTLE Progress

Our OneBottle PRS (Plasbin Recycling Station) units are special-purpose designed for this campaign. Each unit has a capacity of 8,300 liters or 8.3 Cubic Meters in volume. We shall initially deploy 350 PRSs within Muscat Governorate as a Phase One Trial before expanding to other regions in Oman.

Given the lightweight properties of plastic bottles, our initial 3-months conservative estimates anticipate 15-25 kgs of plastic bottles from each PRS collection, barely 5% of the total disposed of in Muscat each day. We expect the volume to progressively increase to maximum PRS capacity with the level of awareness.

Nevertheless, we have developed an App from which our Plasbin Team shall record this data on the spot after each PRS collection. The data will be published live at this page for you to see how your recycling effort is performing by the minute. The reports will show all the OneBottle plastic collection details including specifics from each PRS location. This information will be vital to organizations or individuals sponsoring some of the OneBottle PRSs, therefore we encourage you to visit us at this page anytime you wish to collect your sponsored OneBottle PRS report.
